Features

Every module exists to keep money in your pharmacy.

Seven integrated modules cover the daily workflow of an independent pharmacy — from the claim you bill to the fridge you rely on. Each one closes a gap auditors love to find.

Feature 01

Prescription error checking

The platform's flagship intelligence layer — catching costly mistakes before they reach patients, claims, or an auditor's spreadsheet.

Name–NDC mismatch. Flags when the drug name and strength on the dispensing report don't match the dispensed NDC.
Quantity billed vs. manufacturer pack size. Detects discrepancies between billed quantity and the actual manufacturer package size for that NDC — including mix-ups between multiple package sizes sold under the same drug and strength.
Discontinued & superseded NDC detection. Flags a claim billed against an NDC the manufacturer has discontinued or replaced — even when insurance still adjudicates it.
Original-pack dispensing check. Flags sealed unit-of-use products — inhalers, pens, test-strip kits — billed for less than the manufacturer's required full package.
Invoices vs. dispensing. Reconciles dispensed quantities against supplier invoices.
Insurance billing errors. Complete compliance detection — drug name vs. NDC vs. pack size vs. days supply.

Patient match — CEDENO, B.MATCHED
Same drug ×2 (rx #4410, #4488)WARNING
Same drug + same plan ×2BLOCKED
Name spelled two different ways, insurance code printed two different ways — still caught as one patient, one plan, one duplicate claim.
Feature 02

Duplicate-billing & fraud detection

The strongest signal of duplicate-claim fraud is the same patient billed for the same drug on the same plan twice — and it's the hardest thing to catch on OCR-extracted reports, where a misspelled name or a stray digit in an insurance code hides the match. QueueRX solves this with privacy-preserving matching, not brittle exact-text comparison.

Privacy-preserving patient matching. Groups dispense lines to the same patient using a one-way hashed key built from name, phone and ZIP — so records match across formatting variance without any raw patient data ever leaving the system.
Insurance-code canonicalization. Folds plan-code variants and OCR column-bleed into one canonical plan, so duplicate-plan detection isn't fooled by formatting noise.
Two-signal graded alerts. Same patient + drug flags as an advisory repeat-fill check; same patient + drug + plan flags as a blocking duplicate-billing error.
Severity-gated persistence with full audit trail. Any blocking error stops the report from saving unless an authorized operator force-saves — logged with the operator identity and every overridden error.

Feature 04

Lot number & expiry date management

Lot traceability

Every dispensed drug is linked to its manufacturer lot number. In a recall, QueueRX instantly surfaces which patients received which lot — enabling rapid, targeted outreach.

Expiry monitoring

Automated alerts as drugs approach expiry, with customizable 30/60/90-day thresholds. Expired stock is flagged before it can reach the dispensing queue.

Compliance-ready reporting

Lot and expiry data structured for regulatory audit trails — meeting state board and FDA requirements with minimal manual effort.

Proactive expiry & lot tracking — eliminating recall lag and compliance risk at the same time.
Feature 05

Discontinued NDC notifications

When a manufacturer discontinues an NDC, most pharmacies find out from a rejected claim. Orders get placed, claims get filed and patients get served — all on a dead code.

Continuous NDC database monitoring for discontinuation events
Instant in-app and push notifications to pharmacy staff
Automated suggestions for equivalent substitutes where available
Billing and inventory linkage to prevent downstream claim errors
NDC database update detected
Manufacturer retires a code
QueueRX ingests the change
Cross-checked against your stock and open orders
Staff alert triggered
In-app and push, with substitutes suggested
Action taken before impact
No rejected claims, no dispensing delays

Feature 06

Recalled NDC tracking

FDA recalls happen constantly — and the window between announcement and pharmacy-level action is dangerously wide. QueueRX closes it to zero.

Live FDA feed integration. Recall notices ingested directly from FDA MedWatch and openFDA.
Inventory cross-reference. Recalled NDCs matched against your current stock in real time.
Patient dispensing history. Identifies who received recalled drugs for rapid notification.
Audit documentation. Recall response actions logged automatically for state board compliance.
Feature 07

Temperature monitoring

Proprietary hardware plus cloud-connected software — end-to-end cold-chain compliance from one vendor, with no patchwork of third-party sensors.

Purpose-built wireless sensor by PhaBO Labs — Wi-Fi enabled, no wiring, ±0.1 °C precision, USB-C rechargeable
Real-time dashboard on web and mobile with configurable thresholds per storage unit
Automated push, SMS and email alerts the moment a unit drifts out of range
Daily, weekly, monthly and custom compliance reports — aligned with USP standards and the documented temperature logs all 50 state boards require
